The Offroad-Mania Rear Cargo Tray is a practical solution for off-road, overlanding and expedition vehicles equipped with an externally mounted spare tire. It provides extra cargo space outside the vehicle without requiring permanent modifications or a fixed rear carrier system.
The tray mounts directly to the spare tire using straps, making it easy to install before a trip and quick to remove when not needed.
The rear cargo tray allows you to carry gear outside the vehicle, keeping the interior cleaner and better organized. It is especially useful for bulky or dirty equipment that you do not want inside the cargo area.
It is ideal for carrying:
The tray is made entirely from aluminum, with stainless steel bolts. This keeps the total weight at only 7 kg (15.4 lbs), which is important when mounting equipment to a spare tire and rear door assembly.
The low weight reduces unnecessary stress on the spare wheel carrier while still providing the rigidity needed for carrying lightweight expedition gear.
The outer dimensions of the tray are 104 × 46 × 8 cm (40.9" × 18.1" × 3.1"), while the inner usable dimensions are 103 × 44 × 7.5 cm (40.5" × 17.3" × 3"). This provides enough space for bags, compact boxes, recovery boards and other camping equipment.
The tray fits spare tires from 28” to 37”. It is secured directly to the spare tire using mounting straps. No drilling, cutting or permanent vehicle modifications are required.
Mounting straps and all required installation components are included.
The tray can be installed when you need additional cargo space and removed when you do not. To take it off, simply release the straps and remove it from the spare tire.
The tray includes openings designed to help secure cargo, especially when using rubber straps with hooks. This makes it easy to hold bags, soft gear and lightweight camping equipment in place.
When properly mounted, the rear door can still be opened with the tray installed. Always remember that any additional load increases stress on the spare wheel carrier and rear door hinges.
The recommended load is 15–20 kg (33–44 lbs) of evenly distributed and properly secured cargo.
Do not exceed the load limits of your vehicle’s spare wheel carrier or rear door hinges.
The tray is finished with a fine-texture matte black powder coating. This finish matches off-road vehicles well and provides resistance to weather, mud, dust and everyday use.
A simple, lightweight and practical way to carry extra gear outside your vehicle.
